Review: Paramore At The O2 Arena

Review: Paramore At The O2 Arena

Paramore take to the stage of the O2, as they put the past behind them and look forward, celebrating a new chapter as a band.

The set is focused heavily on 2017 album, After Laughter, exposing the more genre-neutral approach of the emotionally captivating record.

Each member of the band fills the stage with high energy as they burst into Hard Times, which gives the band’s iconic singer, Hayley Williams, a chance to showcase her dance moves.

Without time for breath, the band continue with Ignorance, one of their darker, edgier songs.

What’s most special about this set, however, is the way each member of the band shares the spotlight, taking the show as their own, from guitarist Taylor York’s intricate melodies that fill the room, to drummer Zac Farro’s providing the perfect beat for the crowd to move to.

As Paramore complete their melody-filled set with Rose Coloured Boy – one of their newest songs, for which you really need dancing shoes – one thing is certain: Paramore are back.
