The Peeps are a quirky, four-piece, Brighton-based rock band, consisting of Ryan Ede on guitar and vocals, Jake Marlowe on keys, Brandon Midlane on bass and David Andrews on drums.

They got together in January 2017 after meeting at BIMM, where all four studied guitar.

The band first started when Ryan wanted to take his music a step further by putting a full band behind his original songs. Those songs subsequently became more rounded when everyone’s individual musical inspirations came together, creating head-turning pop songs with unexpected compositions.

Their sound is a fusion of bluesy guitar licks, jazzy piano solos, (occasional) polka basslines and bouncy drums, with inspiration taken from folk, rock, jazz, prog, grunge, classical and gaming compositions.

The Peeps have recently finished recording their first EP, which is set for release in April.
